More than 80 celebrity pro athletes and entertainers descend on Lake Tahoe and the Edgewood Tahoe golf club July 8-13 for the 19th Annual American Century Championship.

Tahoe's South Shore plays host to the America Century Golf Championship at Edgewood, a world-class celebrity tourney drawing "A-List" celebrity athletes and entertainers for a week of good fun, competitive golf, and a share of a $600,000 purse. First year players including Chuck Lidell, Dale Jarrett, Ryan Sheckler, Daunte Culpepper, Jason Taylor, Antoine Walker, Jason Kapono and Wally Szcerbiak join championship regulars Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Ray Allen, Jerry Rice, Jeremy Roenick and John Elway for a shot at the prize.
