Sunburst Express Chairlift give hikers a leg up.

You can walk all the way to the top of Tod Mountain (what Sun Peaks used to be called when it was exclusively a local ski area), or you can take the Sunburst Express Chairlift to the halfway point. This is a popular lift with sightseers, hikers, and mountain bikers. Open daily from June 28-Sept. 1, then open Friday to Sunday from Sept. 2-28.
