Telluride is surrounded by streams, rivers and lakes, full of rainbow, brown, brook, cutthroat and golden trout. The San Miguel itself runs through the town of Telluride. There is great fly-fishing along the South Fork of the San Miguel, which is west on Highway 145. Expert guides will take you to where the fish are biting and teach you the best techniques for casting or fly-fishing.
