Winter Park: "Mountain Bike Capital, USA"

WinterPark_biking.jpg

Most of Winter Park's trails take advantage of the area's bounty of public lands, including the Arapaho National Forest, Rocky Mountain National Park and BLM lands.

You will find top-to-bottom mountain biking for all levels at the Winter Park Resort base area. Cyclists, and their bikes, are transported to the summit of Winter Park mountain via the Zephyr Express chairlift. New this summer, Winter Park adds the Olympia Express to its roster of operating bike transportation systems. It serves as the resort's first dedicated mountain bike-only chairlift and gives Winter Park the title of being the only resort in Colorado and the Rocky Mountains with two chairlifts devoted to mountain biking. From the Zephyr or Olympia Express, riders have access to the resort's 50-mile network of interconnected trails.
