Big Sky's four-star Saddle Ridge Townhomes are available this summer for reduced rates. The three-story townhomes perch themselves apart from Big Sky's Mountain Village on a slope with views of Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks.

You can rent the townhomes this summer between June 9 and Oct. 15 for substantially reduced rates. The two-bedroom townhomes are going for $179 per night, and the three-bedroom townhomes are renting for $199 per night. That's $82 to $321 lower than the usual summer rates.

The1,600-square-foot, two-bedroom townhomes sleep four to six people, while the 2,000-square-foot, three-bedrroom units sleep six to eight people. Both have two bathrooms, private outdoor hot tubs, laundry machines and full kitchens.

The master bedroom on the lower level usually contains two queen beds. The main floor houses the dining room, kitchen and living room, and the loft bedroom typically has two queens or twin beds.

Saddle Ridge sits about a seven-minute drive from Big Sky's Mountain Village, summer lift rides, restaurants and mountain biking. Guests staying at Saddle Ridge Townhomes also may use the Huntley fitness center and swimming pool. The townhomes also sit within walking distance to the Moonlight Basin Lodge.

Drive 47 miles from the Gallatin Airport to reach the townhomes. That's also the same distance to reach Yellowstone's west entrance further to the south.
