The Ruby of Crested Butte, a luxury bed and breakfast located downtown, is offering a Butterflies, Tots and Forget-Me-Nots Family Vacation Package through the month of July, which includes a Kids Nature Camp for children from four to 11 years of age at the world renowned Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory. 

Package prices for a five-night stay start at $1,565 per a family of four. The package includes five nights' accommodation for two adults and two children, a gourmet breakfast served each morning of your stay, and half-day participation for two kids in the Kids Nature Camp Program at the laboratory; based on program dates and availability. 

For almost 80 years now leading scientists, botanists, and students from around the country arrive each summer at this remote field station located high in the Rocky Mountains to study the wild ecosystems of this rugged, fragile high mountain landscape. The Kids Nature Camp, offered in June and July, explores high mountain meadows and forests through games, hikes, crafts and scavenger hunts, which makes learning easy and fun in this spectacular mountain setting. 

It's something they will likely remember for a lifetime, and what better way to get kids outdoors and enjoying nature. Mom and dad will  find plenty to do to keep them busy during the half-day camps, and ample exploring opportunities exist for the whole family the rest of the day in this beautiful environment.
