If you visit during July 10-19 you will be in town for the 109^th annual Cattlemen's Days, which is the granddaddy of Colorado rodeos.  The 10-day festival is all about celebrating Gunnison's ranching heritage and Western spirit.  It features three professional rodeos held at the Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center the evenings of July 16, 17, and 18 starting at 7 p.m. each evening.
