You can inspire your family's passion for adventure at Crested Butte Mountain Resort with the Family Adventure Package for adults and kids. The package, which is available through Sept. 6, includes two nights' lodging, Sunday through Thursday, and two days of Camp CB (children ages 5-12) for one child starting at only $299 per family. Additional children for Camp CB are $65 per child, per day. Camp CB Nursery (ages two months to 4 years old) pricing is $99 for a full day, $75 for a half-day, and $25 per hour. Lunch is included for toddlers.
Camp CB encourages exploration and discovery based around the resort's mountain location. The Passport to Adventure is a great program that combines outdoor mountain activities on the ski area with indoor crafts and education. Programs include Animals of CB, Forest Discovery, Mining of CB, Clowning Around, and Wild Goose Chase. For younger children (ages two months to 4), the Camp CB Nursery is the perfect spot to spend a day away from the parents.
Meanwhile for adventurous parents, the new Adventure Park is located at the Mt. Crested Butte base area. Adventure Park activities include year-round ice skating, bungee trampoline, and a climbing wall. Activities can be purchased à la carte or take advantage of the Adventure Ticket ($40) and enjoy unlimited access to chairlift rides and all Adventure Park activities. Tickets are available at the Adventure Center in Mountaineer Square.
