A pair pf well-known South Lake Tahoe properties have some great deals for folks still itching to get up to The Lake before the leaves start to fall. Harrah's Lake Tahoe, the deluxe 500-room, 18-story hotel hugging the Nevada border on South Shore's main drag, has a Midweek Summer Special that includes one night's lodging, including tax, and one round of golf at Edgewood Tahoe golf course for $325 per person, based on double occupancy and available Sunday through Thursday. Golf must be played Monday through Thursday. This offer is available through Aug. 27.

The Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa, South Shore's only all-lakefront property, has a Music and Wine Package for $87 per person per night that includes lodging and a picnic basket brimming with wine, snacks, and chocolate to take to the complimentary Music on the Beach performances that take place Thursday and Sunday evenings. This summer's last Music on the Beach concert is Aug. 30. The Lodge's Girlfriends Getaway Package, at $125 per person per night, includes lodging, two one-hour massages, a bottle of wine, and a $60 dinner voucher at Blue Water Bistro. Both packages require a two-night minimum stay.
