Zip-Line Canopy Tour Package: Stay at The Lodge, then take a Zip-Line Canopy Tour with Alpine Adventures. Midweek rates start at $350 for two people for two nights. Weekends start at $390 for two people for two nights.
Pedal & Paddle Package: Stay at The Lodge two nights, and spend one day paddling down the Pemigewasset River, and another riding a bike through Franconia Notch. Midweek rates start at $300 for two people for two nights. Weekend rates start at $340 for two people for two nights.
The Lodge offers indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, saunas, tennis courts, game room, color TV with cable, family picnic and barbecue areas, and a large sundeck overlooking the Pemigewasset River. The Great Room offers free wireless access.
Reservations are subject to 9 percent New Hampshire room tax, and 10 percent resort fee. Check-in is 4 p.m. Checkout is 11 a.m. No pets allowed.
Lincoln, N.H., is at the western end of the Kancamangus Highway, a spectacular road through the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. The town also sits at the southern end of Franconia Notch, one of the great scenic drives of New England along a road than winds between the Franconia Ridge to the east and Cannon and Kinsman Mountains to the west.
