Looking for Loon's Past

Details

Description

This part of the country begs to be explored. If you get out there, you'll be surprised at what you might find.

Check out the Upper Pemigew Asset River Historical Society. Open limited hours, it offers a history of the logging industry in Lincoln and some artifacts from the Grand Resort days.

Visit Clark's Trading Post (603-745-8913) for performing bear shows, and train rides.

It used to be that you couldn't go home without seeing The Old Man of the Mountain. He's on the NH State Coin and on all state highway signs. Sorry, but he recently crumbled and no longer can be seen in bas relief.
