One easy way to snag bargain summer lodgings in the Mammoth Lakes area is to check out the lodging deals listed online by EZ Mountain Vacations. Its Family Economizer Special packages include one-bedroom accommodations for five nights for $450, seven nights for $500, and 10 nights for $650. Two-bedroom rates start at five nights for $550; three-bedroom/five-night rates are $750; and four-bedroom stays for five nights are $850. These special summer rates are in effect through Sept. 8, 2009.

Some of the 21 condo properties represented by EZ Mountain Vacations include the Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club, Aspen Creek, Juniper Springs Lodge, Mammoth West, San Sierra, Snowcreek, and Val D'Isere. Locales of the condo properties include the Canyon Lodge, Gondola Village, Little Eagle Lodge, and Old Mammoth Road areas.

EZ Mountain Vacations is also offering specials in conjunction with Mammoth's Jazz Jubilee July 8-12 and its Bluesapalooza July 31-Aug. 2. Stay three nights and get a fourth night free, during these two events. The Fisherman's Special offers a fourth night free through Nov. 13.

Rates are not available during holiday periods and lodgings must be booked by phone. Firefighters, police officers, and teachers receive an additional five percent discount.
