Stay, Wine, Dine At Classic Park City Event July 9-12

Celebrate the utmost in wine and culinary pursuits while clinking crystal in the crystal air of Park City's mountains. This year's four-day festival, July 9-12, 2009, features the Wine on the Mountain Kick-Off Celebration, the Stroll of Park City tasting, a Grand Tasting, numerous culinary and vineyard seminars, renowned epicurean specialties, access to celebrity chefs and winemakers, vintners' dinners, reserve tastings, live entertainment, and more.

Book a discounted room through The Canyons Central Reservations starting at $119 per room per night not including event tickets if you're planning to attend. Not only will you enjoy special savings, but you will be steps away from Saturday's event. The Canyons has packages, accommodations, as well as tickets available for all of the main events.

The festival offers a variety of tickets, packages and pass options. Individual tickets start at $35 and packages start at $225. The Classic brings some new experiential seminars to guests. "Mud, Sweat and Cheers" combines mountain biking with lunch and wine sampling. The festival is designed to appeal to the devote connoisseur and novice alike, providing samples of fine wines from around the world and culinary creations from the region's finest chefs.

The Wine on the Mountain Kickoff Celebration gets underway at the Red Pine Lodge at The Canyons, July 9, at 6 p.m. Spend one-on-one time with industry experts and delve into a variety of wines, focusing on reserves but also showcasing some everyday selections. The celebration also features a live auction benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. 

The "Toast of Park City Grand Tasting" is  an impressive gathering of domestic and international vineyards, gourmet food purveyors,and live entertainment. Enjoy the Viking Outdoor Kitchen and cooking demonstrations on the outdoor stage as well as live music. The signature event of The Classic continues to grow in popularity with over 1,500 attendees anticipated sampling from approximately 500 wines and 20 restaurants.
