Crowd pleasers like Copper Mountain's Courage Classic and Guitar Town fill out the resort's summer calendar, in addition to new events like the Copper Cup and the Mountain Home & Outdoor Expo. Then there's Woodward at Copper, the first indoor/outdoor ski and snowboard camp on the planet, offering summer camps for those looking to progress their terrain park and pipe skills in the off-season.
Check out the Woodward at Copper Staycation packages. Receive one free One Hit Wonder session for every night you stay. That's a 90-minute session designed to familiarize guests with the trampolines, foam pits, and other apparatus in The Barn. Based on one-night lodging, double occupancy in a silver standard room, plus one free One Hit Wonder, the camp is available to those eight years and up who are comfortable riding or skiing on intermediate terrain. Rates start at $138 night. Offer expires after July 13, 2009.
Guests also will enjoy fun, family-oriented activities at Copper - for either a full day with Summer Day Passes or all summer long with the new Summer Activity Pass. The Summer Activity Passes ($149) offer unlimited access to select activities through Sept. 7.
Celebrate the July 4th with the 3Ring Weekend. The free family event features live music by Super Diamond, the National Repertory Orchestra performing Peter and the Wolf, the Primp My Ride kid powered parade, the first annual Reuse, Recycle, Rummage Sale, and hands-on, interactive activities designed to educate and entertain at the Conscious Carnival. Make sure you stay over a Friday. FAC (Friday at Copper) offers free live music and a free movie under the stars for the whole family.
