Travelers in June often find lower rates at hotels before the onslaught of the summer tourism season. The Coast Hotel in Kamloops follows suit with their Bed and Breakfast Package reduced in price through June.

The bed and breakfast package includes one night accommodation and a full Canadian breakfast. The package, which is available year-round, is offered for a reduced rate starting at $139 through June 30.

The four-star, smoke-free Coast Canadian Inn features a heated outdoor pool, fitness facility, and sauna. The hotel also includes two restaurants - the Pronto Grill and Sgt. O'Flaherty's Pub - both which specialize in British Columbia wines and specifically local Okanagan-produced wines. The pub also runs a retail outlet for cold beer and wine sales.

The hotel's 98 guest rooms have complimentary high-speed wireless Internet and morning newspaper. The rooms are furnished with either one queen bed or two double beds. The hotel is also pet friendly, but does charge $10 per animal per night.

The hotel is near downtown sights: Kamloops Art Gallery, the Western Canada Theatre, and Kamloops Heritage Railway. Its location in town makes the hotel central for visiting the Kamloops Wildlife Park, Secwepemc Museum, and the area's golf courses. Sun Peaks Resort, which offers summer lift rides, is 45 minutes away.
