Sara Evans rose to the top of country radio with hit singles such as "No Place That Far," "A Real Fine Place to Start," and "Born to Fly." The Booneville, Mo., native will be digging in to her Loretta Lynn-style repertoire in a concert in Sun Valley in June, and Sun Valley Resort is offering a package for the event.
The resort packaged up two lodging and concert ticket options. The deluxe package includes preferred seating for two people and accommodations for one night for $104 per person. The standard package includes two basic seating pavilion tickets and one night's lodging for $94 per person.
Accommodations are in the Sun Valley Lodge or Inn, and rates are based on double occupancy. Additional lodging nights may be added to either package for $138.
Evans' concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. on June 19 at the Sun Valley Pavilion.
Evans has released five albums, two of which went platinum and one double-platinum. "No Place That Far" has been certified gold. Her latest album "Sara Evans-Greatest Hits" came out in 2007.
She won the Academy of Country Music's Female Vocalist of the Year in 2005 and the Country Music Association's Video of the Year for "Born to Fly" in 2001. She was also named the 2006 Female Vocalist of the Year in the R&R Reader's Poll.
