The charming American Artists Gallery House, an arts-and-crafts-bedecked bed-and-breakfast located on a quiet cul-de-sac not far from Taos Plaza, has put together a trio of fun packages for guests staying in one of its seven gallery rooms or one of the three Jacuzzi suites.
The inn's Take a Llama to Lunch package includes two nights' lodging and a full day exploring the high desert southwest with the ever-affable naturalist/field ecologist Stewart Wilde and his friendly llamas. The Standard Package is $499 and the Deluxe Package, with an in-room tub-for-two, is $639.
The Girlfriends Getaway package is a basic two-night package for a group of four that starts at $79 per person and includes a sparkling beverage with wine and cheese upon arrival and an outdoor hot tub for stargazing...and catching up.
Finally, there's the One Night Stand package that gives a couple a quick one-night getaway for $279 that includes a sparkling beverage and chocolate-covered strawberries upon arrival, an in-room Jacuzzi tub-for-two, and a $50 gift certificate to use at aTaos restaurant. This package is available only from Sundays through Thursdays.
All packages include hearty gourmet Southwest-influenced breakfasts and are based on double occupancy (except for The Girlfriends Getaway). Weekends require a three-night minimum stay.
