Make sure you stay over a Thursday night and check out the Beaver Creek Rodeo Series. Buy one ticket, get one general admission ticket free with your My Way Pass. Located behind Chapel Square in Avon, with free shuttle service from the covered bridge in Beaver Creek village, the gates open at 5 p.m. every Thursday night through Aug. 20. Tickets are $15 for General Admission and may be purchased at the Beaver Creek Information Center up to 3 p.m. on the day of the rodeo, or on-site at the rodeo beginning at 5 p.m. Kids under 12 get in free.

Kids can sign up for Mutton Bustin and Calf Scramble (the first five buckaroos to capture ribbons from the tails of a group of friendly calves win prizes) each Thursday night once the Rodeo gates open. Adults over 18 can put together a team of three and compete in the Burro Racing competition.
