2. St. Regis Aspen Resort

Aspen Outfitting Company, located in the lobby of the St. Regis Aspen Resort, specializes in providing guided fly fishing and hunting experiences. Within a one-hour drive of the resort, guests can enjoy a challenging upland bird hunt. Skilled guides and trained bird-dogs lead the way through 28,000 acres of land and a dozen separate hunting areas, putting guests on grouse, pheasant, duck and more. For a truly unique experience, try sailing at 9,000 feet. Viceroy Snowmass has partnered with Aspen Cycling Tours, a guide service that caters to both road and mountain bikers of all skill levels. Tours range from scenic rides along the Frying Pan River to lung busting ascents up Independence Pass.  Other hotel programs include wildlife tours and adventure hikes with a naturalist guide. Naturalist hikes, offered through the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, accommodate all ages and fitness levels and include transportation, snacks and lunches.
