Taos Events

Taos’ rich history and numerous historical sites can pose a dilemma for itinerary-driven travellers looking to also explore the 200,000 acres of wilderness located in The Rio Grande Norte National Monument. Throw in 1,200 acres of accessible mountain biking and hiking atop Taos Ski Valley and the to-do list takes on a mind of its own.

Taos is located at an elevation of 6,969 feet and is home to some of the oldest historical dwellings in the country. Coupled with music festivals, shopping, museums, wineries and local hot springs, Taos is just as exciting off the mountain as on. Other activities include llama trekking, horseback riding, rock climbing and camping.
